How we started:

Encouraged by my husband Wayne, I started Synergy in Silk when we moved to Buford GA in 2004. I love floral designing and Wayne thought there was a market here. I met my new friend Lisa Hazan who asked me to create a few designs for her home. She liked them and then asked me to decorate her store for Christmas. This was the birth of Synergy in Silk.

Charitiable Donations & Associations:

Several of our friends & clients got us plugged into local charities including: Hi-Hopes,  Susan G. Koemen Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Foundation, and Annandale Village. Thanks for helping us to give back.

To keep Synergy current in the local business goings-on, we are members of the most active Chamber in GA, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and with regard to the design industry we attend IFDA meetings (International Furniture & Design Association) speaker meetings & events. Plus, we are very active with interior designers and members in the trade.

Me & My Staff:

I (Sharon) am the main artisan for Synergy in Silk. And I am really blessed to have an awesome group of people around me that I can always rely on: My husband Wayne Norris; my dad, Mike O'Donnell & his wife Mary; my brother Kevin O'Donnell; my former student & floral designer, Peggy Hambrick (alias Mrs. Newman); and Cynthia Bartch, Professional Stager & Floral Designer. All are an invaluable part of our team.
